Gardening is a passion for us at Exton Manor.
In spring, the woodland area is carpeted with bulbs: the annual show begins with hellebores, snowdrops and aconites, followed by daffodils.
As summer arrives deep herbaceous borders are packed with colourful cottage garden favourites like delphiniums, sedums, geraniums and salvias; the rambling rose ‘American Pillar’ scrambles through shrubs and trees.
Beyond the lawns, a beech hedge leads to a secret ‘room’, box parterres, a veggie patch, a pond and a fountain and walled garden.
We hope you take time to have a wander to explore new aspects of the garden or sit on one of the many benches to listen to the abundant birds.
Some areas of the garden are available for our guests, but we do invite you to look around the garden after breakfast if you would like to do so
Breakfast is served in the main house between 8-9 am,
